It has a sleek, glossy shell and smooth, rounded edges for a comfortable grip. The back also has a slight contour to make the phone more comfortable to hold.
The front of the device is primarily dominated by stunning 4 inch Nova display with the sharpest and brightest display currently on the Android market. It is nearly on par with the popular Retina Display that has drawn many customers to the iPhone 4. The LG Marquee, however, is more accessible to many users because it is simply more affordable than the iPhone. In addition to looking amazing, the Nova screen is highly responsive and easy to use. The usual Android shortcut keys are located below the display. The volume rocker resides on the left spine along with a conveniently customizable shortcut key.
The LG Marquee offers greater performance and improved user interface from older Android smartphones because it ships with Android Gingerbread 2.3.4. Like any Android-based device, it offers full integration with all of Google's services and apps including Gmail, Google Search, YouTube, and many others. For users who do not use Google, the Marquee also supports IMAP and POP email.
Two cameras are present on the LG Marquee. The front facing camera is 2-megapixels, while the rear-facing camera is 5-megapixels and has an LED flash. The rear-facing camera offers numerous tools and settings, and the photo quality is generally pretty good. It is also capable of recording HD videos in 720p. The front facing camera isn't anything fancy, but it is nice for video calling or the occasional self-portrait.
