LG's new 4G phone for Verizon is called the LG Revolution, but it would be hard to say it's really revolutionary in any way. It looks, feels, and performs quite a bit like the Samsung Charge and the HTC Thunderbolt, two other 4G LTE-capable phones.
Just because the LG Revolution doesn't exactly live up to it's name doesn't mean it's a bad phone, however. Indeed, the LG Revolution is a solid choice for a 4G phone. The LG Revolution is wickedly fast on Verizon's 4G network, it has a colorful and sizable screen that responds quickly, and it runs on Android 2.2 Froyo. Netflix comes pre-installed on this multimedia monster, and social media is easily accessible.
On the downside, the battery life on the Revolution is a let-down, as is the camera and the default keyboard. The Revolution is also a bit on the bulky side, but then again, this is normal for a 4G phone.
All-in-all, it's a solid phone with far more pros than cons.
